AAVSO’s board and staff are looking forward to this year’s Annual Meeting— which is scheduled to open in 8 weeks at the US Space & Rocket Center, Huntsville, Alabama!
The agenda is taking shape, anchored by presentations given by our three stellar keynote speakers:
T CrB: Brightest Nova in Generations | Dr. Brad Schaefer
NASA’s Space Launch System: Big Science on the Big Rocket | Dr. John Blevins
The Precision Frontier of Dark Matter Constraints from Direct Acceleration Measurements | Dr. Sukanya Chakrabarti
These, combined with an opening reception in the awe-inspiring Saturn V Hall of the Davidson Center for Space Exploration, member presentations, poster hall, sponsor displays, networking breaks, and closing banquet, promise to create a memorable experience. Register for in-person or remote attendance now!

Hey all, can I get some help please?
I’m trying to open up the zoom call from the link I got in the email,
but it is asking me for a “meeting passocde” which I cannot see anywhere in the email!
Thanks,
Yiannis
I understand that there were several issues that impacted the webinar today. This includes users not receiving reminder emails, some users being prompted for passwords, variable audio levels, and one users’s remote video not displaying for remote users. I apologize for this experience. We have identified the cause for most of these issues and should have them addressed by the session tomorrow morning.
We will be sending users who were impacted by these problems links to the recordings so that they may watch anything that they missed. We will also happily relay any questions you have for the speakers to the relevant individuals.
Kind regards,
Brian Kloppenborg
