BSM_Berry4 -> BSM_Berry5

Hello!

I understand that BSM_Berry4 no longer exists, having had its camera replaced by a different model.

So, how do I color-transform BSM_Berry4’s remaining data?

I usually do Time Series analysis over images from several dates with an ensemble of comp stars. With a single date, I can’t do Time Series.

A great many of the images I have were obtained using three filters, so I cannot perform Two-Color transform either. So, what can be done to reduce the data?

Please advise.

Several things you have stated are incorrect;

  1. Yes, Berry5 is the current version of the system in Perth.
  2. Both Berry4 and Berry5 settings exist in VPhot in case someone wants to analyze some old images.
  3. You can do a times series of all filter images at once. You can do one day’s images at a time.
  4. You can do 2 color transformation IF you do processing in groups of 2 images, e.g., BV then VI.
  5. More practice/training needed?
