Happy New Year!
The first 3 months of the VV Cephei campaing are over.
We are surprised and very pleased by the large number of spectra received. I am not aware of any campaign where such a high density of data was available over such a period of time (an average of 1.55 spectra per day).
In addition to the confirmation of the found axial precession of the B star (43 days), new interesting details are already emerging.
We expect possible matter interactions by the periastron in March and ask for further support of this project. New participants are welcome.
Requirement:
Reduced spectrum of the H-alpha range with an R >= 9000.
Instrument function corrected.
Wavelength calibrated.
No telluric correction.
