If I send a OSC fits file over to VPHOT it splits it into R,G,B colors but the results don’t produce images that can be measured. I get the message that it can’t find comparison stars for the profile.
If I take the same OSC fits file and pass it through ASTAP to extract the R,G,B colors and then pass them to VPHOT, the measurements work fine.
Any suggestions or thoughts? What method does VPHOT use to split OSC files.
