VPHOT cannot load GCVS stars

I am very happy to see that APASS data can now be automatically loaded in VPHOT as I use Sloan filters. However when I try to load GCVS variables in my images VPHOT says that there are no variable stars so I have to input them manually. Can you fix this issue?
Thank you

Gianluca

Gianluca:

Did you have to wait a ‘looong’ time before it said no variables exist? That’s what just happened to me. I wonder if the link to the database is down? I’ll talk to George.

Ken,

I did indeed. After a long time the system says there are not GCVS stars in the field. Thank you for looking into this.

Hi Ken,

I am just wondering whether George checked the link to the GCVS database. I am still getting the same message from VPHOT. As I am planning to do some photometry tonight it would be annoying to search and input variable stars manually. So I would be very grateful if you could solve the issue.
Thank you
