Vera Rubin Observatory

The Vera Rubin Observatory will soon begin operations.
The largest digital camera ever built will be used to regularly scan the entire sky.

I imagine this could result in the discovery of vast numbers of new variable stars, as well as improved light curves for already known ones.

Are there any plans or discussions within AAVSO/VSX regarding:

How the variable star data might be incorporated into the VSX?
Whether Rubin data will lead to automatic submissions?

By the time LSST starts publishing catalogs I assume we will have a new VSX system in place and we will be able to import data as they are in a more timely fashion.
It will be a challenge anyway, but I will always take the positive side and say that we will all have more objects to investigate.
