Hi everyone,
I think the VSX team might be interested in these papers.
The first one is “An outer-disk SX Phe variable star in Rubin Data Preview 1”. This paper reports the discovery of a previously unknown SX Phoenicis-type pulsating variable star using Rubin Data Preview 1, designated LSST-DP1-O-614435753623041404 (or LSST-C25 var1 for short).
The second paper is “Periodic Variability of the Central Stars of Planetary Nebulae Surveyed through the Zwicky Transient Facility” by Pinjian Chen et al., published earlier this year.
In this work, they discovered 19 new planetary nebulae central stars exhibiting periodic variability, with most types being E/PN, R/PN, ELL/PN, ROT/PN, etc.
The third paper is “The TESS Ten Thousand Catalog: 10,001 uniformly-vetted and -validated Eclipsing Binary Stars detected in Full-Frame Image data by machine learning and analyzed by citizen scientists”. This work presents 10,001 uniformly vetted and validated eclipsing binaries, 7936 of which were previously unknown.
It seems that the majority of the variable stars from these three papers are not yet included in VSX.
