Papers about a possible Betelgeuse’s binary companion that make use of AAVSO photometry

There are two recent papers investigating Betelgeuse’s long secondary period of ~2100 days, both reach the same conclusion that a low-mass binary companion is the most likely reason. Both papers make use of AAVSO photometry.
