When I try to check recent observations I get “Not found”. I get the not found message when putting in V0462 Lup, V462 Lup, and N Lup 2025. I tried using 3 different browsers (Safari,Edge,Chrome). I can pull up a chart using the above designations but can not see any observations.
Using the search facility with date range, V462 Lup obs displayed for me.
I can confirm that I can see observations when I use the search function. But I am getting the error when using the Pick a Star Box on the home page. I also discovered that if I put the name of any star in the pick a star box and click on “check recent observations” I will get “not found”.
Hi @BHarrisHBB ,
(I moved these posts into their own thread in the Technical Support forum so that they’ll be easier for AAVSO staff to find.)
Thanks for reporting this issue. I can confirm that I also get a 404 “Not Found” page when using the “Check recent observations” shortcut of the Pick a Star box on the aavso.org homepage. The other shortcuts (light curve, finder chart) still work; maybe it’s a problem with the link to the new version of WebObs.
Thank you Lauren. I initially posted there because I thought it was specific for the nova but when I found that it was any star I meant to post it here.
