YY Tel was detected in outburst by Gaia:

This detection allows to correctly identify the object, which had previously been identified as a 18.8 Vmag. F-type star without emission lines lying 2.7" to the ENE of the variable.
The correct position from Gaia Alerts (for the current epoch) is 18 33 56.05 -53 58 50.7.

Observations to confirm its nature (it is an UGWZ candidate in Downes et al., and its most recent outburst was in 1998) are welcomed.
Beware of the companion.
If you can’t solve them, it is better to include them both in the photometric aperture and then correct the result.
