The developers of PypeIt want to interview amateur spectroscopists

Earlier today, I spoke with some of the developers of PypeIt, an open-source Python package used to automatically reduce spectra. PypeIt is a very powerful tool, but right now, it’s limited: it only works on certain professional spectrographs (e.g. Keck LRIS). However, the developers would like to add support for amateur spectrographs.

To help figure out what specific updates are needed, they would like to interview as many amateur spectroscopists as they can.

If you are interested in being interviewed, please add your name to this spreadsheet:

The developers emphasize that it does not matter whether you know anything about PypeIt; they just want to find out what people are doing now, and what they can do to support amateur spectroscopy.
