The next meeting of the spectroscopy section will be Wed Jan 8 at 5 pm MST, 7pm EST, 0000 UTC. I will be going through another in a series of instructional presentations designed to provide a foundational understanding of methods and techniques for producing high quality spectra. In this session we will take a deep dive into using reference spectra to correct for atmospheric and instrumental effects. This will probably require two sessions to get through all of the material and address all questions (including my own), so I’ll set aside our Feb meeting for Part 2.
