AB Aur rare fading!

A frew days ago I tried to observe the young stellar object AB Aur and it seemed slightly fainter than usual. Yesterday morning John Toone wrote on [baavss-alert] list, that AB Aur was aroung 0.5 magnitude fainter than usual. Yesterday night I also observed AB Aur and I can confirm, that it’s obviously fainter than usual, around 8.1 magnitudes . Another observation from today mornig: 7.9 magn. Slightly brighter, much higher on the sky.

Last time AB Aur was observed such faint was in 1997.
Further visual, photometric and spectroscopic observations are strongly recommended.

I have it at 7.596 TG on Oct. 1. Seems to be slowly brightening, still fainter than normal.
