Unable to open VSTAR

When I try to open VStar I get the following:

“VSTAR” Not Opened
Apple could not verify “VStar” is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy.

Now what?

What VStar version are you trying to run?

Were you trying to run it from a downloaded DMG file such as this one under Releases?

https://github.com/AAVSO/VStar/releases/download/2.24.0/vstar-mac-2.24.0.dmg

What version of Mac OS X are you using?

I have been trying to install VStar on my iMac M1 computer running MacOS 15.6.1. I downloaded https://github.com/AAVSO/VStar/releases/download/2.24.0/vstar-mac-2.24.0.dmg and I too get " “VSTAR” Not Opened
Apple could not verify “VStar” is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy." Any work arounds or suggestions?
