TOI-1259 got lost

Bright (12m) circumpolar EP TOI-1259 with transit depth 2.7% is not presented in the VSX. Attempts to use other Simbad identifiers were unsuccessful.

It shows up in VSX accessed through the CDS-Strasbourg VizieR service. I did the search by coordinates rather than a name. In general, if one is off the beaten path of ‘classical’ catalogues, doing searches on coordinates can be more useful than by some recently-promulgated name. And of course I’m sure Sebastian would love to have competent help in maintaining VSX!

Wow, Sebastian already added TOI-1259 A to VSX as EP+BY, excellent! The star became more interesting due to WD companion.

As Brian said, it was in VSX under its Gaia DR3 identifier, and only its rotational variability.
This one was complex so I updated it, but Mikhail, all the findings about stars you are sharing through the forum will get lost if you don’t publish them or submit revisions to VSX.
Unfortunately we don’t have the resources to do the revisions ourselves every time you find something (and you are quite prolific!!). So I encourage you to “do it yourself
