The monthly meetings of the SSIG working group focused on develoment of a robotic spectrographic telescope into AAVSOnet is now on pause. This is to give the AAVSOnet SIG time to perform the installation and checkout of the telescope in the host observatory. I’ll provide periodic updates on their progress and when we can expect our group will be re-injected into the process. I expect this pause will be on the order of a few to several months. Everything is progressing well and we see no blockers ahead of us in implementing this exciting new capability.
