Hello everyone,
for what it is worth, I would like to share a small Siril script project for Seestar FITS images:
It lets the user select which CFA-derived channels to extract from Seestar FITS data — L, R, G, and B — and then provides stacking workflows for the selected channels. A particular focus is photometry-oriented handling of FITS header values such as exposure time, observation time, combined exposure, and the number of stacked frames.
The motivation is that in many general-purpose workflows these header values are not always preserved or documented in a way that is ideal for later photometric use.
This is not a full photometry tool yet. However, an extension towards a complete photometry workflow is already in development.
I would be grateful for tests, feedback, bug reports, or suggestions, especially from users working with variable-star photometry and Seestar FITS data.
Best regards,
Thomas
