Robert Fleck - We are stardust

Did someone read new book We Are Stardust: Stellar Evolution and Our Cosmic Connection? What are impressions?

I wasn’t aware of this book, but I’ve looked at the synopsis provided on some web sites where it can be purchased. Here are some quotes:

“Life as we know it is an inevitable consequence of the life cycle of the stars.”

“We then trace the life cycles of the stars from birth to death highlighting the synthesis in the stars of the heavier chemical elements so essential to life …”

“Surprisingly, despite its significance, this fascinating story of our connection to the stars has largely gone unnoticed outside a small circle of scientists.”

I am surprised at the last sentence. I would have thought that more than “a small circle of scientists” is aware that the chemical elements essential to life on our planet were formed in stars.
