today the new AAVSO website was launched.Unfortunately my data downloading program does not work anymore due to a different API and I do not have the source code.
Also the counter on the old website is no longer available on the new site with the last star and AAVSO member who submitted the data. This is a real pity that this information is gone. Please make it again available on the main page of the new site.

Hi Josch,
I’m sorry to hear that your download program is no longer working. Unfortunately, we provided notice of the API’s deprecation more than a year ago, and it was formally deactivated today. We do not plan to restore it, so you’ll need to transition to a different solution.
Regarding the “last observer” and “observation count” features, we’ve added both to our list of potential features to restore in the future.
