Hi, For a long time I’ve been using Maxim DL to process images, do the photometry and create the AAVSO file for submission via Web Obs. I thought perhaps it was about time to take a look at Vphot and I wondered is Vphot now how most members do the Photometry?

I use MaxIm with PinPoint for calibration and solving.
Sometimes MaxIm for stacking.
Solved, calibrated images go to VPHOT for photometry.

There are a lot of VPhot users and it’s a very good program, but my impression is that most members use other photometry software. I usually use Phoranso nowadays. I mostly do time series of cataclysmic variables and Phoranso is more automated than VPhot.
