No, that’s definitely an EA. You can see the beginning and end of the eclipses in the light curve as an evident change in slope. Eclipse duration is 18%.

As an EA type system, MP Cam is a detached system where neither star has filled its Roche lobe. However, these stars are close enough together that gravity has distorted one or both of the stars into an ellipsoidal shape. The out of eclipse variation in the light curve is caused by the rotation of the ellipsoid.
