Just trying out the new site and for me at least the Light Curve Generator does not seem to be working. The input dialog comes up but when I enter a target and select Send I just get the spinning blue wheel and no data ever loads. I’ve tried it on Safari and Firefox browsers on MacOS.

I got this behavior for a while too this morning but light curve generator is working now.

OK, thanks, it seems to be working now for me as well.
However, it does look like the LCG does not work if invoked from the External Links section of an entry in VSX. WebObs also doesn’t work if invoked from there. In each case you get a generic “Not Found” page as the result.

This should now be resolved. The LCG which we deployed on the new website was an older version of the code. We’ve pushed the newer code.

It’s working if the page is accessed directly but the links from VSX still seem to be broken.

Hi. I’m still not understanding how to access the LCG. Used to be www.aavso.org/LCGv2/ I believe. That doesn’t work.
Well … I’ll be! It didn’t work until I clicked the link in my last posting (after typing into Chrome a few times in futile attempts) … but now it’s working. Oh well.. Just ignore this, I guess.

Thanks for catching this! The LCG has a new home at https://apps.aavso.org/v2/tools/light-curves/. We’ve installed a permanent redirect for www.aavso.org/LCGv2, but I’d suggest updating your bookmarks.
