It is not possible to change equipment profile

My equipment has two profiles in relation to the camera type STT8300 or ST402. I tried to upload images with the profile ST-402 in VPHOT without success: the STT8300 is the only selection. I deleted this profile, turn off the computer, restarted, STT8300 didn’t appear in my profile, but when I try to upload the images, persist the ST8300, not the ST402. I performed the time series and got the results, but I don’t know if they are correct. Is it possible that VPHOT read the fit of the images? In this case, the selection of the telescope is not important. Is it correct?

Luis:

  1. Have you ever uploaded images to VPhot before?
  2. Can you share a screenshot of your VPhot Telescope Profile? Look under Admin/Telescope Setup at the top of your Available Images page.

Ken

  1. Yes, I followed your course Photometry with VPHOT 2024

Picture 1: This is the only option
Picture 2: But this is my profile
Picture 3: M67 images upload with the wrong telescope
Picture 4 and 5: your images
Picture 6: I supposse that here is where I have to put the correct data

Luis:

  1. Your AAVSO Equipment Profiles are NOT linked to VPhot at all!
  2. So, you need to create another Telescope Setup in VPhot (photo6) for the second camera.
  3. Much info will be identical to your existing VPhot Telescope setup IF it is in the same location.
  4. Is this what you are trying to do? Add a second system to your VPhot account?

Ken

PS: Is there any reason you set up an ATMoB scope and a HYP Com scope for your own private use? Your private ATMoB scope has created a conflict with the actual (common/public) ATMoB scope.

Ken,
Thanks for your advices. I had thought that filling the data in my equipment profile it was enough. Now, it is OK (picture). The other systems are due to the course of Best Practices that just finish with Prof. Arne. Question about the realization of standard stars of a determinated cluster: it should be done with 1)the same previous sequence (same target, same comps stars,…), 2) the same telescope profile.
