We have not had any zoom meetings to discuss useful equipment to use in variable star observing. I’d like to put one together for early August. Presently topics are TBD.

I’m writing in the hope that some of you out there have great topics worthy of discussion!

A few that come to mind are:
Observatory design and construction
Using NINA to automate your telescope system

This sounds like a great initiative. One topic that could be valuable is equipment calibration and maintenance, including tips for improving accuracy and avoiding common setup issues. A discussion on recommended accessories for different experience levels could also be helpful. Looking forward to seeing the topics everyone suggests!
