Comp stars sequences for TOMs

Some (or a lot of) eclipsing binaries do not have AAVSO comp stars.
Is there a sence to disturb Sequence Team for each case, or using of star databases may be enough for timing, especially with using VSX variables for choose of stable comp-check stars?

I run into that fairly frequently. In that case I use comps from ATLAS using Tycho. I always check the comps for non-variability over the period.

I tried to create short sequence with Stellarium stars just for timing. Stars were checked with VSX for invariabiliy. VPhot does not permit to activate them. What should I do in that case? Ask Sequence Team again and again?
