If it doesn’t already exist, has anyone here investigated low cost options for parsing aavso t-cor-bor magnitudes and triggering sms text alerts to mobile phones?
I will begin posting options if no one else has any suggestions/links.

We’ve been monitoring T CrB for the last two (?) years, waiting for its eruption. During that time, we’ve received and adjudicated a multitude of erroneous data points that would have otherwise implied that the eruption occurred. In one case, some erroneous data was submitted by one of our most trusted and experienced observers whose filter wheel failed in the middle of the observation.
Thus, I would highly advise against any form of automated process.
When the eruption occurs, we’ll let the world know.
