Apertura CarbonStar 150 versus Apertura CarbonStar 8" RC

I am looking for advice on which would better for exoplanet transits. I suspect that if I really enjoy it, I may move on to other areas of Photometry as well.

I am looking to purchase a ZWO ASI2600MM Duo to pair with the OTA as I am reading this setup should help to increase guiding precision. I already have the Optolong UBVRcIc Photometric 5-Filter set and I also plan on getting the ZWO 7-Position EFW to go with this setup.

So, please… feel free to opine on the Apertura CarbonStar 150 versus Apertura CarbonStar 8" RC comparison. I have a feeling I know what the winner is but I am looking for experience over my feelings.

Thank you for your time!

What do you have for a mount? You might be better off spending $$ on a better mount.

I should have also mentioned the focuser is something else you may wish to spend $$ on as the Apertura ones have a bit of a bad reputation.
